Your mission

As a Frontend Engineer, you will support our e-commerce teams in the area of SAP Commerce Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce in the designing and implementing user-friendly, responsive web applications.

Implementation of flexible and modular user interfaces based on current web technologies
Conceptualizing and advising on customiser-specific IT solutions with a focus on UI/UX
Contributing your strengths in team and project meetings
Participating in cross-technology projects, for example with colleagues from the fields of Java and AI
Evaluating market trends for project use
Advising and communicating effectively as well as representing our frontend solutions to customers
Contributing to and expanding new topics and developing internal standards and guidelines

Your profile

Degree in business informatics, computer science or relevant professional experience in software development or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in software development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (Vanilla, Angular, React etc.)
Knowledge of and interest in frontend architectures and (overarching) topics such as web performance, testing, release and deployment management, security, documentation, progressive enhancement, web standards, usability, debugging, code reviews, technical coaching, SSR, SSG, SPA, MPA, progressive web apps and agile methodologies
Interdisciplinary interest also in interface topics (HTTP REST, backend, infrastructure, etc.)
An eye for good UI design and UX concepts, human-machine interaction and attention to detail
Enjoy working in a team
Strong interest and enthusiasm for digital trends and technologies
Solution-oriented working style with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
Very good German (min. B2 language level) and good English skills
High awareness of deadlines and quality
Willingness to learn and flexibility
