Senior Consultant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations (all genders)

Your mission

Project-based companies face the challenge of seamlessly integrating quoting, project planning, resource management, and billing. As a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations, you will help design these very processes in collaboration with our clients. You will analyze business models, develop viable solution designs within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, and take on technical leadership as a Lead Consultant on projects.

• Designing project-oriented business processes: You analyze the business processes of project-based companies—from quoting and project planning to resource management, time tracking, and billing—and develop scalable digital solutions for them.
• Designing solutions based on Dynamics 365 Project Operations: You design and implement solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations and translate business requirements into the system.
• Assuming technical responsibility in the project: As a Lead Consultant in the subproject, you will be responsible for technical solution designs, facilitate workshops, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Designing integrations within the Microsoft ecosystem: You design integrations between Dynamics 365 Project Operations and ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and define data flows and integration requirements.
• Working in agile project structures: You work in agile or hybrid project environments, formulate user stories, support testing, and assist with go-lives.
• Supporting Presales & Sharing Knowledge: You assist in evaluating customer requirements during the presales phase and actively share your knowledge within the project team.
• Technology Environment: You work within the Microsoft ecosystem, focusing on:
  - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations
  - Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  - Microsoft Dataverse
  - Integration with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  - Microsoft Power Platform

Your profile

• Experience in Dynamics 365 Consulting: Several years of experience as a Functional Consultant in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE environment, ideally with a focus on Project Operations, PSA, or comparable project-based solutions.
• Understanding of project-based business models: You understand the processes of project-oriented companies, particularly in the context of project-based service providers.
• Experience in technical project leadership (including agile methods): You have already taken on responsibility as a Lead Consultant or in a technical sub-project management role and bring experience in agile project methods to the table.
• Dynamics & System Understanding: Very good knowledge of the functional customization of Dynamics 365 CE, as well as a fundamental understanding of Dataverse and security models.
• Integration expertise: You understand the relationships between Dynamics 365 and ERP systems, ideally within the context of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Work style & consulting skills: You work in a structured and analytical manner and possess strong consulting skills.
• Languages & Willingness to Travel: You have excellent German and good English skills and are willing to travel as needed (approx. 20%).

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Apps or Power Automate).
