Data protection is a matter of utmost importance to us. Arineo GmbH and the software partner Personio SE & Co. KG have implemented the necessary organisational and technical measures to ensure the confidentiality of your application. All employees in the HR department and our software partner are under an obligation to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data as part of their employment contract. Thanks to automatically activated 256-bit encryption, secure transmission of your data is ensured. During data processing, the general standards for data security in accordance with the current state of the art are taken into account.
During the application process, the usual correspondence data such as postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers are stored in the applicant database in addition to your title, surname and first name. In addition, application documents such as letters of motivation, CVs, professional, training and further education qualifications and references are recorded. disclosure and processing obligations and will inform you accordingly. You have a right to
data portability, i.e. that we will hand over your personal data to you upon request in a
machine-readable form using a common format specified by us.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority
responsible for your country if you are of the opinion that we are not handling your
personal data properly and in accordance with this statement. If you have given us your
consent to process your data, you can withdraw this consent at any time.
If you have any questions, please contact our data protection officer at

If you join Arineo GmbH, your personal data, or at most an extract thereof, will be added to
your personnel file. Your data will be stored for a period of 180 days after the end of the
application process. This is generally done to fulfil legal obligations or to defend against
any claims arising from legal regulations. We are then obligated to erase or anonymise your
data. In this case, the data will only be available to us as so-called metadata without
direct personal reference for statistical analyses (e.g. proportion of women or men in
applications, number of applications per period, etc.).
In addition, we reserve the right to store your data for inclusion in our ‘talent pool’
after the end of the application process in order to identify any other positions of
interest to you. This also extends to applications for an apprenticeship or internship, for
example. You can give the consent required for inclusion in our ‘Talent Pool’ on the
respective application form in the ‘Data release’ section. If you select the appropriate
formulation, you consent to any further storage of your data and inclusion in our ‘Talent
Pool’.
